• 2If the contents run out or change, simply wash off the color with water and a little mild soap.

  The color becomes permanent on absorbent surfaces and it is possible to paint over dark colors with a lighter pencil.
  Make sure the cap is firmly in place before you start shaking the pen. Otherwise, paint may splatter.
  Shake the pen for 20 seconds (if it’s a brand new pen), otherwise 4-5 seconds will do.
  If this is the first time you are using the pen, you need to activate the tip. You do this by pressing the tip straight down on a scratch paper. Press down so that the tip is inserted 4-5 mm into the pen body. The tip then begins to saturate with color, which can take up to 20 seconds. Be aware that some color may come out when you do this, wipe the sides of the tip with paper towels if needed.
  The pens are stored lying down and not in direct sunlight.
