Make a Hama snow globe

Do this

  • 1Wash the jar thoroughly and dry it.
  • 2Bead shapes, measure so they fit in the jar.
  • 3Please watch the video on how to best iron your pearls. Iron on both the front and the back so the figure stays better. Let an adult help.
  • 4Allow the figures to cool under pressure.
  • 5Tie small bows of satin ribbon and glue them to the beaded packages. Keep in mind that the glue and tip of the glue gun get very hot.
  • 6Press clay into the lid and stick the figures in the clay, a little glue may be needed to make them stay in place.
  • 7Allow the clay to dry completely and then screw the lid onto the glass jar.

Hama beads can be used for so many different kinds of crafts. Here we have made a delightfully funny snow globe. Recycle glass jars and make small worlds with different figures. Keep them or give them as Christmas gifts to grandparents, aunts and uncles. The craft is fun all year round and you can make Easter, summer or Halloween themes in the jar.
